On June 29th, we're planning to hold our annual Ramadan Food Distribution day. 450-500 boxes with Ramadan food items and certificates for halal chicken will be built and delivered. The boxes will be distributed to families we've assisted in the past and to certain masajid that will distribute to those in dire circumstances. If you'd like to volunteer to fill the boxes and/or make deliveries, please email us at info@upliftcharity.org. Volunteers at past events have mentioned to us that its a rewarding experience.
If you'd prefer to contribute financially, visit www.UPLIFTCharity.org/donate. Each box, with the certificate for halal chicken, will cost around $40. Contribute towards a partial box, a complete box, or multiple boxes. The Ramadan food boxes will include dates, rice, honey, canned foods, bread, sugar, and much more. Indicate "Ramadan Food Box" or just "Food Box" in the note section.
